Ministry of Economy and Energy and World Bank: Technical assistance for Utilization of EU funds for energy projects in Bulgaria (2008)
The assignment had two main tasks: exploring and developing the possibility for additional capitalization of the BEEF through the EU Structural Funds, and assisting in development of an efficient mechanism for utilization of the ERDF funds under OP Regional Development for gasification/RES utilization in the municipalities, not included in the gas distribution regions and having no license for gas distribution granted.
Ministry of Economy and Energy and EBRD: Supporting MEE and IWG in the implementation of the strategy in the energy sector for mitigating the consequences of the early closure of the VVER-440 units of Kozloduy NPP (2006-2007)
The company was a subcontractor of the German consortium MWW-Plejades and made an analysis of demand of projects within the gas sector; applications evaluation for projects in gas, heating, electricity and hydro energy sectors; also prepared Project Implementation Sheets and Technical Annexes for the Grant Agreements in the a.m. sectors.
Private client: Pre-feasibility study for construction of gas pipeline for connection of municipalities of Etropole, Mirkovo, Zlatiza, Pirdop and Chelopech to Bulgartransgas(2006-2007)
The company prepared marketing and project evaluation of the investment, including sensitivity and risk analyses.

European Commission: Analysis of Environmental, Economic and Social Issues Linked to the Decommissioning of Nuclear Installations, (2005-present)
As sub-contractor of Plejades, Germany, the company is to review and analize the issues related to nuclear facilities decommissioning in recently accessed countries - Ignalina NPP, Lithuania and Bohunice NPP, Slovakia.
Sofia Municipality: Financial Analysis and Comparison of Options of Investment Financing of 7 Small HPPs along the Sofia Water Supply System, (2005)
The company made project evaluation of seven small hydro power plans grouped in three packages, with long-term financial modeling of their construction and operation. Three options of financing were evaluated and compared, including with public-private partnership.
State Energy and Water Regulatory Commission: Creation of Monitoring System for Natural Gas Trading, (2005)
Infraproject Consult Ltd. made analysis of existing tariff systems for TPA to gas distribution networks and gas storages in connection EU requirements and proposal for amendments of existing natural gas trade rules; created web base monitoring system of natural gas trading for the Commission.
European Commission: Economic, Environmental and Social consequences of the closure of VVER 440 units at Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant, (2003-2004)
As a local consultant of companies ARCADIS, Holland and Plejades, Germany, the company was engaged in evaluating the consequences of the early closure of four reactors at Kozloduy NPP - Bulgarian energy sector review, electricity generation and end consumer price analysis and long-term forecast; as well as project pipeline suggestions for mitigation of the negative impact, including energy efficiency projects and regional development projects.
World Bank: Harmonization of the Bulgarian Legislation with the Acquis Communautaire in the Energy Sector, (2003)
The company developed a scheme and a mechanism for compensation of stranded costs and pricing incentives for development of renewable energy sources for the secondary legislation of the Energy law, as an associate consultant of Eurolex Bulgaria.
World Bank and PPIAF: Bulgaria - Development of Gas Distribution Networks , (2002-2003)
Infraproject Consult Ltd. as an associate consultant of Economic Consultants Associates, UK, made an analysis of existing gas distribution activities and analysis of future gas distribution regions.
Canadian International Development Agency: Southeastern Europe Electrical System Technical Support project (SEETEC), (2001-2002)
Infraproject Consult Ltd. worked as a local consultant. The project included issues related to electricity sector liberalization, electricity market design and implementation, structuring of TSO, energy efficiency incentives, participation in the preparation of secondary legislation acts, etc.

Road Infrastructure Agency: Preparation of Cost-Benefit Anlysis of the project "Completion of Trakia Motorway, Lots 2, 3 and 4" (2009-2010)
The company elaborated Cost Benefit Analysis of the project according to National requirements to preparation of projects on OP Transport, WP 4 and Guide for CBA of investment projects of EC.
Metropoliten EAD: Engineer-Consultant of Sofia Metro Extension Project – II diameter – Nadejda-Cherni vrah, (2008-2012)
The company is a member of the Consortium Systra-Infraproject-MetroConsult performing supervision of project design and construction of the II diameter of Sofia metro – stretch of 7 km and 6 metro stations.
Metropoliten EAD: Cost-benefit Analysis of Sofia metro Extension Project – II metro diameter, (2007-2008)
The company elaborated Cost Benefit Analysis of the project according to WP 4 and Guide for CBA of investment projects of EC, including filling in the respective chapters of the Application form for financial assistance from Structural funds.
Japan Bank for International Cooperation and Sofia Municipality: Sofia Metro Extension Project, (2002-present)
Infraproject is the leading local partner of a Japanese consortium, established between PADECO and PCI for Sofia Metro Extension Project. The project is financed with the loan granted by the Japan Bank for International Cooperation to the Municipality of Sofia. The tasks include providing of consultant services for the design, bidding and construction supervision of the project as well as management consulting services to Metropoliten Company.
Sofia Municipality: Financial analyses of concession for construction and operation of underground parking Narodno Sobranie square (2006)
Sofia Municipality and Metropolitan Plc: Feasibility Study of Sofia Metro Extension to complexes Mladost, Drujba and Sofia Airport, (2005)
The Study included analysis of the current operation of the Metropolitan and feasibility study of metro extension from station Interpred to the Sofia Airport and to the Business Park Mladost.
Ministry of Transport: Concession Analyses of Port of Oriahovo, Port of Svishtov, Port of Varna – Varna West Container Terminal, Varna West Multifunctional Terminal, Varna East Multifunctional Terminal, (2004 – 2005)

Sofia Municipality and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development: Sofia Parking Project “Parking Strategy and Action Plan”, (2003-2004)
In association with PADECO, the company made a detailed parking survey in the inner center of Sofia and prepared a parking strategy and policy for the center of Sofia to be approved by the City Council as well as a plan of recommended actions.
Blagoevgrad Municipality: Trolleybus Transport Concession Analyses, (2001)
Infraproject Consult Ltd was involved in preparation of the trolleybus transport concession analyses on the territory of Blagoevgrad Municipality. The project included assessment of actualities, market-research on existing and future services, as well as long-term forecasting of the future investment expenditures for the construction and operating of the trolleybus system on the territory of the city of Blagoevgrad.

The project required concession analysis based on feasibility of the project of construction and operation of the Rakov Dol Dam in Bourgas region;
Ministry of Environment and Waters: Varshtets, Rupite, Stara Zagora, Varna, Bracigovo Mineral Water Deposits, (2000-2004)
A number of financial analyses for mineral water concessions were prepared throughout the years for the Ministry of Environment and Waters. The company prepared also a great number of offers for bidders – private companies, for mineral water concessions.
Ministry of Environment and Waters: Optimization of the existing waste collection and transportation system and closure and rehabilitation of exisiting landfills and dumpsites within 6 regions in Bulgaria - Montana, Pernik, Ruse, Silistra, Sevlievo and Sozopol, (2002-2004)
As subcontractor company was involved in a two-year project for optimization of waste collection systems in sixteen municipalities in the regions Pernik, Montana, Sevlievo, Rousse, Silistra and Sozopol. Municipality budget analyses were prepared as well as costing of systems optimization and calculations of the waste fee size based on it with evaluation of affordability level.
Sofia Waste Management project – PHARE financing with beneficiaries Ministry of Environment and Waters and Sofia Municipality, (2000-2001)
Preparation of ISPA application form for improvement of waste management in Sofia, including waste collection, transportation and deposition, construction of new land fill and waste incineration plant. We made Municipality Budget Analysis, Long-term Financial Model and Cost and Benefit and Affordability Analyses of the project.
Mining
Bulgarian Mining Chamber: Preliminary Appraisal of the Environmental Requirements to the Mining Industry at Bulgarian EU Accession, (2005)
The analysis contains a review of the engagements Bulgaria has undertaken related to Chapter 22 – Environment; review of the related Bulgarian legislation; drawing up of a correspondence table of the EU and Bulgarian requirements; elaboration of an economic appraisal methodology of the costs mining companies will have to undertake in order to meet the EU requirements on the components of the environment.
Ministry of Economy and Energy: Mine Maritza East, Mine Cherno More, Mine Balkan, Mine Lev, (2001-2004)
In consortium with Bulgarian Mining Chamber Infraproject has consulted the Ministry of Economy and Energy on coal mining concession. In the period 2001 - 2004 have elaborated financial and break-even analyses of numerous coal mines, including the biggest coal mine in Bulgaria Mine Maritza East;
Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works: Concession analysis for non-metal mineral deposits, (2004-2005)
Infraproject Ltd. has prepared legal, financial, environment and social analyses for concession of non-metal minerals, construction and decorative facing materials from number of deposits, operating by Bulgarian companies.
